Tracy Nyarkoah Obodai is a healthcare finance and accounting professional with hands-on experience in hospital billing, revenue cycle operations, and financial compliance. She currently works in accounting and finance within a U.S. hospital system, where she supports financial reporting, budgeting, reimbursement oversight, and claims accuracy for healthcare facilities.
Tracy brings deep practical insight into how duplicate, overlapping, and inaccurate claims arise in real hospital workflows. Her experience overseeing billing, coding, collections, and receivables—alongside ensuring compliance with HIPAA and financial regulations—directly informs the project's focus on claims integrity, waste reduction, and audit readiness.
In addition to healthcare finance, Tracy has experience as an information security auditor, evaluating compliance with frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, and ISO standards. On the Healthcare Claims Integrity Platform project, she contributes domain expertise in claims workflows, financial risk assessment, compliance-driven system design, and translating real-world hospital accounting challenges into actionable detection logic.
Tracy holds a Master of Science in Finance and a background in accounting, and she is committed to advancing privacy-preserving, compliance-focused solutions that strengthen financial accountability in U.S. healthcare systems.

Kelvin Baah is an economics-trained researcher and project development professional with experience advancing applied research initiatives, coordinating complex projects, and supporting evidence-driven decision-making across education and organizational settings. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership, where his work emphasizes data analysis, systems design, and policy-relevant research.
Kelvin has extensive experience supporting and managing research projects from conception to dissemination, including literature reviews, data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preparation of conference presentations and manuscripts. His background also includes business and project development roles, where he has worked with cross-functional teams, coordinated stakeholders, managed timelines, and translated analytical insights into actionable strategies.
On the Project Cecurus, Kelvin contributes economic and analytical expertise, helping frame the financial impact of duplicate and overlapping claims, assess cost-avoidance opportunities, and support the project's research, documentation, and external engagement efforts. He brings a strong interest in leveraging data-informed, privacy-conscious systems to improve efficiency and accountability in complex institutional environments.

Kelvin Cecil Apenteng

Kelvin Apenteng is a data analytics and operations professional with experience applying statistical methods, big data tools, and healthcare research to improve systems efficiency and decision-making. His expertise spans data analysis, workflow optimization, and compliance-aware solutions, with a focus on addressing challenges in healthcare operations and financial integrity.
Kelvin has direct experience supporting public health initiatives, having contributed as a data and research analyst to the implementation of COVID-19 self-testing programs in Ghana. In this role, he worked on analyzing health data, supporting research-driven deployment strategies, and helping improve access to testing through evidence-based planning and operational insight.
As part of the Project Cecurus team, Kelvin brings technical strength in data cleaning, large-scale analytics, and anomaly detection. He contributes to identifying billing and reimbursement inefficiencies, supporting the platform's mission of reducing financial waste while improving compliance and trust in healthcare claims systems.
Kelvin is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics, with hands-on project experience using Python, SQL, R, Spark, and Databricks to analyze real-world datasets and generate actionable insights. He is committed to strengthening healthcare system integrity through responsible analytics, privacy-preserving technologies, and innovative solutions that improve outcomes for providers and patients.

Sylvester Krampah is a strategy and analytics professional with experience supporting data-driven decision-making across technology, finance, logistics, and innovation ecosystems. He currently serves as a Data Analyst at Amazon, where he delivers analytical insights for operational and capacity planning, develops SQL-based data systems, and builds executive-ready dashboards that inform strategic tradeoffs and performance improvement
Sylvester’s background spans applied economic research, machine learning, and commercialization strategy. As a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he conducted large-scale economic and policy research, built statistical models, and translated complex findings into clear recommendations for academic and non-technical stakeholders. He has also worked in venture capital strategy and co-founded a logistics startup, where he led product and operational execution in resource-constrained environments
On the Project Cecurus, Sylvester contributes advanced analytics design, scenario modeling, and system performance measurement. He supports the development of detection logic, financial impact estimation, and dashboard analytics to ensure the platform delivers actionable, executive-level insights for hospital finance and revenue teams. Sylvester holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Science & Technology for Innovation
